Construction Obligations

  • Owners must maintain their lot after settlement and before construction starts, including mowing and keeping it free of rubbish.
  • Building sites must be kept clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
  • Builders must provide a skip bin to manage construction waste and minimise environmental and neighbour impacts.
  • Bins and site facilities must not obstruct neighbouring properties, roads, or footpaths.
  • Road reserve assets (e.g. water meters, electrical pillars, street trees, landscaping) must not be altered without approval from the DRP and relevant authorities.
  • Any damage to public assets must be repaired by the builder before bond refunds are issued.
  • The DRP must be notified of any external design changes during construction, and updated plans submitted for approval if required.
  • Construction of the dwelling and external works must be continuous and completed within the contract timeframe.

Telecommunications (OptiComm)

  • Round Mountain uses the OptiComm fibre-optic network for broadband and TV.
  • Homes must be wired in accordance with the Round Mountain OptiComm Cable Entry Guide.
  • Residents can choose from multiple retail service providers using the OptiComm network.
  • A connection fee may apply and is paid by the developer.

Water Meters

  • Water meters are already installed for each property.
